I hope that you will support the concerts outside the choral series - in particular
Sir Alexander Gibson's first concert as our Principal Conductor when he conducts
Sibelius's 5th Symphony (Sunday 25 September at 3.00.pm)
In looking at ways to increase our audience it seems amazing, but if every
member
of the Guildford Philharmonic Society and Choir sold just two tickets for one
of
our 12 concerts, the increased ticket income would go a long way to funding a concert!
I'm sure there are people who would like to come to concerts if they could
be
ccllected from and returned to their homes.
Ideally, we would like to identify
pctential season ticket holders so that we can organize minibus
routes, but it
may be possible to accommodate those wishing to attend single concerts.
If you
know anyone, please call us on 0483 444666 and we'll add names to the list.
Finally,
if you can display a poster - A2 or A4 - we will gladly send one to
you.
