Mahler Symphony the
highlight of new season
Vivace Chorus’ new season begins on
Monday 6 September at Holy Trinity
Church, High Street from 7.30pm to
9.30pm, with director Jeremy Backhouse
and accompanist Francis Pott.
The season starts with rehearsals for a
Last Night of the Proms concert to be held
in Croydon, and for Rossini’s Petite
Messe Solennelle.
The highlight of the year will be
performing Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 with
the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the
Royal Albert Hall. New members are
welcome, especially basses.
