Choir and Orchestra will be
conducted by the German
maestro Wilfred Boettcher

| orchestra. Solo;sts will be Melanie. Armistead (soprano),
Yvonne Howard (alto), John
Mark Ainsley (tenor) and Alistair Miles (bass).
The choir was trained by
chorus master Neville Creed.
Boettcher will open the con-
cert with a performance of
Mozart’s Symphony No 25.
Both symphony and requiem
will be familiar
to anyone who
saw the Oscar-winning film,
Amade_us.
